Booster is seeking an entry level Marketing Specialist to help support and expand in-market growth. The Marketing Specialist assists General Managers in reaching sales goals through lead generation, communicating to potential clients, and coordinating sales events. This person possess excellent communication skills and has a proven track record of being a self-motivated high achiever. In addition, he or she must have a strong desire to see Booster’s business platform grow by creating opportunity and reaching targeted goals.
Generate Sales Opportunities - He or she is responsible for supporting Booster’s sales initiatives via prospecting through various channels i.e. email and drop by visits. He/she will be responsible for data mining of prospective clients, generating leads through cold calling, responding to prospective client inquires, and maintaining up-to-date account activity on Salesforce.
Assist Sales Presentations - He or she is responsible in preparing for assisting the GM with sales meetings/events with research, developing keynote information that is specifically tailored to each school such as reports, competition, pricing, and new products. The goal is to provide clear, customized solutions to the school’s specific needs.
Coordinate and Execute Sales Events - He or she is responsible for creating, organizing, and executing the logistics for sales focused events such as luncheons, networking experiences, and parent board organizations. Collect information on market trends.
Self-Motivated - He or she must be extremely proactive in seeking new client opportunities and disciplined in time management to meet numerous deadlines.
Results Driven - Must be fueled by achieving goals and targets through a variety of sales activities.
People-Oriented - He or she must possess superb communication skills (written and verbal), while also displaying a high level of confidence, professionalism, and positivity, while having the ability the enthusiastically engage people.
Working knowledge of Keynote and Salesforce
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual Base Salary: $25,000 - $30,000
Networking Bonus: $1,000 - $10,000 per semester*
The networking bonus is $300, which includes a MI* (Sales or Marketing) and Booking component:
Marketing MI Bonus*: $100 for MI* + $200 when/if the school books
Sales MI Bonus*: $200 for MI *+ $100 when/if the school books
*MI: Meaningful Interaction - this is when an engagement is made between a Key Decision Maker and General Manager/Client Specialist.
*Networking earning potential is higher pending performance
